Hey friend! I'm Taeya, your local Vancouver wedding photographer! I am always happy to stay close to home but I TREASURE being able to travel to capture all forms of love. I focus on creating intentional and emotive imagery for couples who crave laughter, romance, and deep connection. I'm the photographer for the couple who will run around a field barefoot in their wedding day attire, won't shy away from a little (or a lot) of PDA, and are defiantly themselves.

When you are hiring a wedding photographer, you are trusting someone else, with one of the most special lifetime memories you'll have. Finding a photographer who cares for those memories as fiercely as you do, is one of the most important parts of the process. My job doesn't just end, or even start, with the wedding day itself. We will spend lots, and I mean LOTS of time talking and working together, which means we want to make sure we're a good fit FIRST and foremost. So let's talk about what it might means to hire me, to celebrate alongside you!
The images I've always loved the most of myself are the wild, cheesy ones that show the real me and my sincere bonds with the people I love.
Capturing genuine connections and interactions is more meaningful to me than the perfectly posed, cookie cutter images. No two couples are the same! The way you interact together is unique and that is what I always strive to reflect for you.

1. An Introductory Chat
With every wedding inquiry I offer a free consultation to discuss your vision for the day, and what you value most when it comes to wedding photography. Consultations can be done over the phone, on a video call or face-to-face within the Tri-Cities area.
My Process for Weddings & elopements
2. Lock it in
This is where I officially reserve your date for you! After all your questions have been answered and your package has been chosen, I send a contract and invoice for your review. You sign and send the retainer (25% of the total investment) and we're ready to go!
3. Let's be Friends
While we wait to be closer to your wedding date, you best believe that I am going to interact with you on social media if you let me! I am super active on there and will most likely reply to your stories if you post cute photos of your pets or relatable memes.

5. Three Month Meeting
As we get closer to your wedding date, I want to make sure we're on the same page and I'm as prepared as possible (I am a Virgo after all) so I like to have a meeting, either online, over the phone, or face-to-face in the Tri-Cities Area. We'll talk about your timeline, events to include, album design (for packages including albums), and any other important information.
6. Nailing Down the Details
1 month before the wedding date you will receive an automated email with a Vendors & Timeline Questionnaire that must be returned by the week before the wedding date. I want to give credit where credit is due, to your vendors, and having your final timeline is essential to the day going smoothly.

Your wedding day is a celebration of your love, so celebrate it however feels right for YOU. Elopements don't have to be the cheesy last minute, fly to a Vegas Chapel and get hitched anymore. Elopements have a very intimate and personal intention. If you'd like to take a helicopter into the mountains or take a trip to an island to say your vows in the comfort of nature, you CAN. The limits are the bounds of your own imagination.
Although I am a Vancouver wedding photographer, I am more than happy to follow you across the world to capture your authentic love.

3-5 days after the wedding you'll receive some of my favourites from the day.
What comes after the wedding day?
For a more intentional viewing experience, I deliver pieces of your gallery over the course of 8-10 weeks after the wedding date, as I finish them.
After the gallery is delivered, if you choose to purchase an album, we will select the images and design it together. You will have access to an online print shop for wall art and smaller prints.
